Downtown Hotel Honors Texas Soul & Jazz Traditions with June Music Lineup
June Music Lineup at downtown hotel, The Gunter Hotel, is Full of Classic Jazz, Blues and Chicana Soul from Across Texas
WHAT:
The Gunter Hotel, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, is excited to announce its June live music lineup of artists performing at its intimate speakeasy, Bar 414. The monthly music series showcases independent, regional talent in honor of the hotel’s storied legacy of music legends who have passed through its halls. Performances take place weekly, Thursday through Sunday from 9 p.m. to midnight.
This month’s programming features a special Chicana Summer Soul Weekend, featuring Chicana Soul music from James Rubino and Vanita Leo on Thursday, June 11, true San Antonio Soul from Chavela on Friday, June 12, and timeless Rio Grande Soul from Myrka on Saturday, June 13. The full lineup of artists performing this month include:
Guests can enjoy the bar’s moody atmosphere alongside curated libations and light fare, including Truffle Pomme fries, premium charcuterie boards and more. All performances are free for Bar 414 patrons and open to guests 21+ only.
