This August, Culinaria Expands Summer Restaurant Weeks to 3 Weeks

Wow! This August, Culinaria gives San Antonians even more time to dine out and support local restaurants during one of the hospitality industry’s slower seasons.

Running August 8–29, the extended event creates additional opportunities for participating restaurants to welcome guests while giving diners more flexibility to explore San Antonio’s culinary scene through specially curated prix-fixe menus, sip signature cocktails, and experience the restaurants that have helped make San Antonio one of the country’s most exciting culinary destinations.

Newcomers Katerina Restaurant and Bar, DJ’s Bar & Grill, King WIlliam Wine Co., and Chess Club Steakhouse will join beloved repeat participants such as Sari-Sari Filipino Restaurant, Market & Bakery, Outlaw Kitchens, Piatti, Cavalier, and Benjie’s Munch and more, offering specially curated lunch, brunch, and dinner menus at accessible price points. These prix-fixe menus showcase the incredible diversity of San Antonio’s food scene.

As Restaurant Weeks has grown into one of San Antonio’s signature culinary traditions over the past 16 years, the expanded format reflects Culinaria’s continued commitment to supporting our local hospitality community.

Beyond the plate, San Antonio Restaurant Weeks offers even more ways to savor the season. Participating restaurants will feature signature beverages crafted with Culinaria’s partners Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Shiner Texas Spirits, and Bending Branch Winery, creating thoughtful pairings and exclusive pours designed especially
for the occasion.

Guests can also extend their culinary adventure through Stay + Savor, Culinaria’s hotel partnership program that pairs Restaurant Weeks dining with exclusive overnight packages and special offers from participating hotels. Award-winning Hotel Emma and downtown gem the St. Anthony Hotel are onboard for August, inviting foodies to extend their Restaurant Weeks experience with a getaway centered around San Antonio’s food scene. More are forthcoming.

While Restaurant Weeks is known for exceptional dining experiences, its impact reaches far beyond the table. A portion of proceeds from every Restaurant Weeks menu sold benefits Culinaria, fueling the nonprofit’s mission of supporting and celebrating San Antonio’s hospitality community through year-round programming, chef collaborations, educational initiatives, and events that showcase the people and places behind the city’s thriving culinary culture.

“Restaurant Weeks has always been about bringing people together through food while celebrating the restaurants that make San Antonio such a remarkable place to dine,” Culinaria President and CEO Suzanne Taranto-Etheredge said. “Expanding to three weeks gives our community even more opportunities to discover new favorites, reconnect with beloved establishments, and experience the incredible creativity of our local hospitality industry.”
