Patio & Pearls

Clementine’s patio comes alive on the third Thursday of each month with raw oysters shucked to order, wine flowing throughout the evening and live music from local performers. August’s Patio & Pearls features music by Chris Guerrero. With no cover charge, the gathering offers an easygoing midweek evening where guests can come early, stay late and enjoy fresh seafood, wine and the restaurant’s welcoming neighborhood atmosphere.

Hotter Than Hell, Just Like New Orleans Lunch

Clementine’s August lunch channels the flavors and spirit of New Orleans through a four-course menu. Guests may choose fried oysters with celeriac remoulade or seafood and okra gumbo to start, followed by stuffed Creole tomato or squash and chicken livers “a la Jazzfest.” Entree options include Shrimp au Vin with white wine, garlic and artichoke hearts or Gulf Snapper Creole. Dessert choices are John’s Famous Bread Pudding or beignets with plenty of powdered sugar.

Clay & Cuisine: 3-Course Feast + Handcrafted Plate

Clementine and local ceramic artist Jesselyn Gordon are bringing art and food together for a three-course dining experience. Each guest will dine from and take home a handcrafted 9-inch pottery plate created by Gordon. Menu choices include Carolina fluke crudo, quail a la plancha, lamb dumplings, Berkshire pork chop cotoletta, halibut en papillote, smoke-roasted tri-tip and sweet potato gnocchi, followed by a choice of house-made desserts. The experience is $110 per person, excluding tax and gratuity.
