This Hotel, Hampton by Hilton, Introduces Its First Guest‑Created Waffle Flavor

Fresh off the waffle iron: Hampton by Hilton’s Peach Cobbler Waffle, the brand’s first-ever guest-created waffle flavor, is rolling out this month at nearly 2,500 participating hotels across the U.S. and Canada. As the winning recipe in Hampton’s inaugural Guest Waffle Boss competition, this limited-time creation stacks ripe peaches, oat crumble, caramel sauce and whipped cream on top of Hampton’s beloved guest-baked Belgian waffle. Just in time for National Waffle Day on Aug. 24, it’s giving travelers one more reason to get out of bed for breakfast.

Breakfast, the most important meal of the day – just hits differently on vacation. New Hampton by Hilton research shows that 66% of travelers say they’re more likely to enjoy a real, sit-down breakfast while traveling than at home. Now, guests have a new reason to enjoy the morning meal with Hampton’s first-ever guest-created waffle, bringing Guest Waffle Boss Kaylee Voight’s winning Peach Cobbler recipe to nearly 2,500 participating hotels across the U.S. and Canada.

Travel creates space for slower, more intentional moments and morning routines like catching up with family before a day of exploring or simply lingering over coffee a little longer. Breakfast often becomes one of the moments that sets the tone for the day, which is exactly what Hampton set out to celebrate by inviting guests to help create its newest waffle flavor.

Today, guests make an estimated 30 million waffles each year at Hampton hotels, enough to fill the biggest stadium in America – Michigan Stadium, in the home state of Hampton’s Guest Waffle Boss – 278 times over. From classic favorites to seasonal flavors like Red Velvet, Pumpkin Spice, S’mores and now Peach Cobbler, Hampton continues to evolve its breakfast tradition, proving that even an iconic guest favorite can keep getting better through thoughtful innovation.

Meet Hampton’s First Guest Waffle Boss

Every great waffle has a story, and this one starts in East Lansing, Michigan. Last National Waffle Day, Hampton invited breakfast lovers across the country to dream up the brand’s next signature waffle flavor through its first-ever Guest Waffle Boss competition. Kaylee Voight’s Peach Cobbler creation rose to the top, earning her one million Hilton Honors Points, a five-night stay at any Hampton by Hilton worldwide and, perhaps most importantly, bragging rights as the creator of Hampton’s first-ever guest-inspired waffle flavor.
