Hotel Valencia Riverwalk Welcomes Summertime with Its Signature “Poptails with a Purpose” Benefitting Ronald McDonald House!
Hotel Valencia Riverwalk, a Valencia Hotel Collection property, is offering hotel guests and locals alike a delicious way to cool off in the San Antonio summer heat with its ever-popular “Poptails with a Purpose” specialty summer cocktails. These adults-only thirst-quenching treats are available at the downtown boutique hotel now through Sept. 7 (Memorial Day through Labor Day).
About Poptails
“We are offering our seasonal Poptails with a Purpose cocktails again as a refreshing way to beat the summer heat and feel good about supporting a worthwhile cause,” said Hotel Valencia Riverwalk’s General Manager Safet Dokara. “These cooling libations are always a big hit with both hotel guests and local residents. This year, our talented mixologists have come up with the Guava Colada Poptail and the Watermelon Tamarind Chill Poptail.”
The Guava Colada Poptail is made with Malibu rum, a guava syrup popsicle, pineapple juice and coconut cream, served in a rocks glass with a flower garnish. The Watermelon Tamarind Chill Poptail is made with tamarind tequila, a watermelon juice popsicle, and a margarita base, served in a rocks glass with a Tajin rim and lime wheel.
Hotel Valencia Riverwalk is also offering “Poptails with a Purpose” room packages during the May 22-Sept. 7 timeframe. These room packages feature luxurious accommodations for two, complimentary valet parking and two welcome Poptails to enjoy on the Terrace or at one of the hotel’s two bars.
