Newly Renovated Faust Hotel Now Open in New Braunfels along with Its Signature restaurant, Wilhelm & Werner!
WHAT:
Lark Hospitality, in partnership with the Duettra family and key investors, are pleased to announce The Faust Hotel, a boutique hotel opening in New Braunfels, TX, will officially reopen following a major renovation on Tuesday, May 19, 2026. The hotel originally opened its doors as The Traveler’s Hotel nearly a century ago, in 1929. The Faust features 45 modernly appointed rooms, a restaurant and bar dubbed Wilhelm & Werner, a refreshed Magnolia Patio, an upgraded lobby bar, and a speakeasy in the basement. Wilhelm & Werner will open with the hotel. The Faust Hotel is located in the heart of downtown New Braunfels at 240 S Seguin Ave, New Braunfels, TX 78130.
“We are so pleased to officially reopen our doors,” said Faust Owner Andy Duettra. “This project has been a labor of love for our friends and family, and it holds a great deal of importance to many in New Braunfels. We are thrilled to be able to carry on the legacy of the Faust Hotel and can’t wait for the community to see it.”
All rooms at The Faust feature king beds with high-quality linens, walk-in showers with complimentary Lockwood products and custom vanities in the bathrooms, 55-inch televisions with access to streaming platforms, complimentary wifi, Nespresso coffee makers, retro Frigidaire mini fridges and more. The 45 guest rooms include six corner suites that can be upgraded to three bedrooms and include a separate living room. The hotel also offers nine spacious junior suites. Rooms can be booked HERE.
The signature restaurant, Wilhelm & Werner will begin seating hotel guests and locals for dinner service on May 19. Described as a Texas Brasserie with European influences, the restaurant will feature refined takes on Lone Star classics. Wilhelm & Werner will be open from 5:30 to 10 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday by reservation only. Reservations can be made through OpenTable HERE. The Magnolia Patio and Walter’s Speakeasy will open shortly after the hotel – date to be announced.
