Local Eatery Turns National Crawfish Day into a Weekend-Long Celebration
Local Eatery, Smashin Crab, Plans Weekend-Long Crawfish Celebration for National Crawfish Day
In true Louisiana fashion, Smashin Crab, known for its authentic Creole cuisine, is turning National Crawfish Day into a full weekend celebration from Friday, April 17, through Sunday, April 19, with a limited-time in-house promotion.

Across all three San Antonio locations, Alamo Ranch, Stone Oak, and Leon Valley, guests can take part in a buy two pounds of crawfish, get one pound free offer, with the ability to make the experience fully customizable through signature seasonings, spice levels, and add-ons.
In addition to the national food holiday, as warmer weather sets in and crawfish season peaks, crawfish pricing is being lowered to $8 per half pound and $14 per pound through June.

“We do things big here at Smashin Crab, and crawfish season is always a huge hit for us. This promotion is our way of giving back to the San Antonio community that supports us year after year.”
Sarah Felix, Corporate Executive of PotBelly Stove Restaurant Group

Rounding out the weekend-long celebration, the eatery’s new frozen cocktail lineup brings classic New Orleans cocktails in frozen form, including the Cat 5 Hurricane, Storm Surge Hurricane, and Masquerade Punch.
