Winter Restaurant Weeks, January 18-February 1, When San Antonio-area Eateries Will Shine
Culinaria Winter Restaurant Weeks
San Antonio culinary-focused non-profit organization CULINARIA will again spotlight local eateries during the Winter iteration of Restaurant Weeks — with some exciting new Hill Country additions. The bi-annual extravaganza will run January 18-February 1, during which more than 100 restaurants will offer special three-course prix-fixe menus to diners looking to explore the diverse culinary landscape of San Antonio and beyond.
Now Also in Fredericksburg
For the first time since its inception in 2010, Culinaria Restaurant Weeks will expand into nearby Fredericksburg, bringing affordable eats to even more diners in the areas in and around the Alamo City. Confirmed eateries include wine-focused Ocotillo and upscale, rustic haven Cabernet Grill.
How it Works
Participating San Antonio restaurants include très French hotspot Brasserie Mon Chou Chou, outdoor oasis Elsewhere Garden Bar, and cozy Belgian bistro La Frite. These and others will offer limited-time prix-fixe menus: $20 and $30 for lunch, and $35, $45 and $55 for dinner. Select spots will also offer to-go options, and others will amp up their Restaurant Weeks menus with additional courses, and wine, cocktail and beer pairings. The two-week affair is an excellent opportunity to try several of the Alamo City’s top-notch eateries — without breaking the bank.
“Culinaria Restaurant Weeks is a longstanding tradition that pays homage to our city’s culinary talent,” CULINARIA President/CEO Suzanne Taranto-Etheredge said in a release. “Culinaria Restaurant Weeks provides the chance to sample the cuisine of some of the Alamo city’s top eateries, bistros and local favorites while enjoying specially curated tasting menus and pairings at an amazing price.”
