Wine Bar Launches First-Ever Brew & ‘Que Event with Star Republic Brewery

Wine Bar, Copa Wine Bar and Star Republic Brewery’s Inaugural Brew & BBQ Event

Copa Wine Bar, located at 19141 Stone Oak Pkwy, Ste. 704, is set to host its inaugural Brew & ‘Que event on Saturday, October 25th, from 4 to 8 p.m., in partnership with the newly opened Star Republic Brewery.

San Antonians and visitors are invited to an evening of classic Texas flavors and craft ice-cold beer. Copa’s executive chef, Jeff Bridges, is set to smoke barbecue favorites, including brisket, chicken, and sausage, accompanied by homemade traditional sides such as coleslaw, potato salad, baked beans, and macaroni and cheese.

Customizable Plate:

Attendees can create a customizable plate featuring two meats and two sides, served with sauce, pickles, and bread, all for $20 per plate. To complement the authentic Texas cuisine, Star Republic Brewery is offering select craft beers for just $3 each.

Beyond enjoying mouthwatering barbecue, attendees will get an inside look at the craft-beer process with head brewer Jessie Pagan & manager Mike Maenza. With over a decade of professional brewing experience, Jessie shares insights into how each batch is carefully crafted. Star Republic Brewery specializes in a wide array of beers, including crisp lagers, bold IPAs, and refreshing fruit-infused creations.

For those wishing to continue the evening, Copa Wine Bar invites guests to explore its extensive wine list, complemented by global flavors that showcase the restaurant’s culinary expertise.

The inaugural Brew & ‘Que event on Saturday, October 25th is open to the public and will be held at Copa Wine Bar. Guests are encouraged to arrive early, as plates will be available while supplies last. The event promises an evening of delicious barbecue, craft beer, and authentic Texas flavors.
