Tobin Center Announces Benefit Concert for Hill Country Flood Relief
The Tobin Center for the Performing Arts, in partnership with the Kerrville Folk Festival and Arcadia Live Theater, is proud to present Together for Texas, a benefit concert in support of our Texas Hill Country neighbors devastated by the catastrophic floods of July 4th. The concert will take place at the H-E-B Performance Hall at The Tobin Center on August 18, 2025.

This heartfelt evening is presented by The Will Smith Foundation and Frost Bank and will be hosted by beloved Texas comedian Steve Treviño.
Over the weekend of July 4, torrential rain and flash flooding swept across Kerr County, displacing families, destroying homes, and severely damaging infrastructure in communities like Kerrville, Ingram, Hunt, Center Point, and Comfort. Tragically, lives were lost in the disaster, and countless others have been forever changed. Families in these areas are now faced with the daunting task of rebuilding, not just structures, but their sense of stability, community, and hope.

In moments like these, the strength of Texas shines brightest. Together for Texas was created from a heartfelt desire to stand with our Hill Country neighbors, not just in sympathy, but in solidarity. The Tobin Center, in collaboration with community leaders and artists from across the state, is proud to present this evening of music, laughter, and unity in a celebration of resilience and a call to action to help rebuild what was lost.

“At The Tobin Center, we believe in the power of the arts to bring people together, especially in times of need,” said Michael Fresher, President & CEO of the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts. “Together for Texas is more than a concert, it’s a call to stand with our Hill Country neighbors as they begin the long road to recovery. We’re proud to partner with organizations and artists across the region to turn compassion into meaningful action.”
