This October, San Antonio’s market at Pearl, Pullman Market, is embracing the season with programming that celebrates Texas wine, culture, and community. From special Texas Wine Month tastings highlighting local producers to a series of festive events honoring Día de los Muertos and Halloween, the Market is bringing together seasonal experiences and curated culinary offerings across Pullman and the on-site restaurants.

 

Texas Wine Month at Pullman Market 

Celebrate Texas Wine Month at Pullman Market this October by exploring a selection of wines from local and regional winemakers. Guests can enjoy tastings across the Market while learning the stories and inspirations behind each bottle. Pair your experience with a special Texas Wine Tasting menu at Isidore, or take it to-go with 10% off six mix-and-match bottles.

Texas Tasting Menu at Isidore

Another way to celebrate Texas wine at Pullman is with Isidore’s specialty Texas Wine Month pairing menu featuring wines from Lewis Wines, William Chris, Letkemen, La Valentia, and more. The six-course menu is $95/per person and includes four Texas wine pairings. The pairing menu is available through the end of October and reservations are available on OpenTable

Día De Los Muertos Celebrations

Pullman Market is honoring Día de los Muertos with a four-day celebration that includes costume contests, live DJ sets, mariachis, and face painting at Mezquite. See the full list of events below.

  • Oct. 23-Nov. 2: Visit the Ofrenda: Ofrenda Live: The Pullman Market Día de los Muertos altar honors the farmers and market pioneers of San Antonio who came before us. The table is adorned with fresh produce, house-baked goods, and a Texas beer as an offering of remembrance.

  • Oct. 30: Muertos Mariachi: Kick off Día de los Muertos at Pullman Market with Muertos Mariachis performing by the Market’s ofrenda. On October 30th from 5 – 7 pm, visitors can enjoy live music while honoring the traditions and stories of those who came before, as the vibrant celebration brings the community together in remembrance and cultural reflection.

  • Nov. 1-2: Muertos at Mezquite: Join Pullman Market for a two-day celebration of music, color and community as they honor tradition with food, fun and festive beats for the whole family.

    • Saturday, November 1st

      • 11 am – 6 pm: Face painting

      • 1 pm – 5 pm: DJ on Karnes Patio

      • 9 pm – 12 am: Late night DJ on Karnes Patio

    • Sunday, November 2nd

      • 10 am – 9 pm: Face painting

      • 8 – 8:30 pm: Catrina Costume Contest

Halloween Offerings 
  • Mezquite Halloween Pachanga: Pullman Market invites the community to celebrate Halloween with an evening of food, music, and festive fun on Friday, October 31, from 6:30 p.m. to midnight. Pullman Market will also have prizes for the kids and adult costume contests.

    • Trick-or-Treating: All day in all departments throughout Pullman Market.

    • Costume Contest:

      • Kids: 8pm-8:45pm

      • Adult & Industry: 11pm-11:45pm

    • Late Night DJ: Until Midnight in the Mezcaleria

  • Pumpkin Carving: Every Monday and Tuesday in October from 5 to 7 p.m., Pullman Market will host pumpkin carving on the patio. Carving tools and decorations will be provided, and Halloween movies will play throughout the evening, with seasonal treats and Market offerings available for purchase. Guests are encouraged to bring their own pumpkin or purchase one at the market.
