Historic SA Hotel Launchs Full Menus at its Signature Restaurant Jots and Lobby Bar The Keystone Club
The historic SA hotel, Gunter Hotel, is a part of Marriott Bonvoy’s Tribute Portfolio.
The hotel is excited to share its signature restaurant Jots and the elegant Keystone Club are both serving full menus beginning Monday, October 27. Helmed by Director of Culinary Development Sarah Myles and Executive Chef Hayley Unruh, Jots celebrates classic American cuisine elevated by regional ingredients and multicultural influences deeply rooted in the heritage of San Antonio.
About Jots
“The full menu at Jots tells a story—one that starts in 1909 San Antonio, the year the hotel was founded, and moves through generations of flavor, tradition, and technique,” says Director of Culinary Development Sarah Myles. “From my father’s Cajun maque choux to Executive Chef Hayley’s family gumbo—complete with a hard-boiled egg—we’ve created dishes that reflect who we are and where we come from. The menu is bold, familiar, and entirely our own.”
The Gunter Hotel’s signature restaurant, Jots, is an homage to the supper clubs that gained popularity in the mid-1900s. Named after Jonathan “Jot” Gunter, a local rancher and financier of the hotel in 1909, Jots reflects his lively spirit. With its full menu launch, the restaurant will now serve complete breakfast and dinner options. A brunch menu will be available soon. Breakfast is served from 7:00 to 11:00 a.m. every Monday to Sunday. Dinner is served from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m. every Monday to Sunday.
The Jots menu includes standout entrées like Duck Confit Benedict, French Dip Sandwich, and Grilled Pineapple French Toast as well as memorable desserts such as Grilled Citrus Pound Cake and Charred Peach Cheesecake. Guests can also enjoy inventive appetizers like Quail Poppers and Oysters Gunter-style with pimento cheese, pecan smoked bacon, and chives.
About Keystone Club
The Keystone Club is located in the lobby of the Gunter Hotel, welcoming guests to enjoy a cocktail under the ambiance of art deco chandeliers and ornate embellishments that surround the hotel’s interior. The lobby bar’s full beverage menu now showcases an impressive selection of classic and craft cocktails, wine, and beer—each curated to complement the opulent interior of the historic hotel. Highlights include signature cocktails like the Do Not Disturb with Hendrick’s gin and raspberry syrup, and the San Antonio Amaro Sour, featuring local bourbon and amaro. Select bites are available at The Keystone Club, including Classic Caesar Salad, Caprese Sandwich, and San Antonio Shrimp Cocktail to name a few. Operating hours for Keystone Club are from 3:00 to 10:00 p.m. every Monday to Sunday.

Walk-ins are welcome at both Jots and The Keystone Club, but reservations are encouraged for Jots and can be placed online. The Gunter Hotel will continue its phased opening through 2025.
