Burger Showdown 5.0 Takes Place at Alamo Beer on Friday, October 18th
It’s almost time for the Burger Showdown 5.0!
Homegrown Chef has teamed up with The Flavors of Texas (San Antonio Restaurants Group) to bring San Antonio the 5th annual burger competition, BURGER SHOWDOWN 5.0, where top San Antonio chefs compete and YOU EAT! This year’s event will take place at Alamo Beer on Friday, October 18th, from 7-10 pm to benefit local nonprofit, Gardopia Gardens.
Ten chefs (see line-up below) will feature 10 gourmet sliders, Krazy Katsu will be making their signature Kimchi Fries and our favorite cookie maker, Texas Cookie Shop, will be providing scrumptious scratch-made cookies for dessert. This is an outdoor event, so all of SA is invited to come out and enjoy a one-night-only burger feast unlike any other!
Additionally, Alamo Beer will be hosting Karaoke this night, provided by Irish Cowboy Productions Karaoke, so guests are encouraged to join in on the fun. Sometimes even the chefs get on stage to sing.
This year’s burger competition will be both audience-voted and judged
