About Pecan House Grill

San Saba has been keeping a deliciously juicy secret. They now have a destination restaurant and bar in downtown with some amazingly good food.

Where Great Food

Clay Nettleship, owner of the beautiful boutique hotel – The Dofflemyer, has opened Pecan House Grill. The three-in-one-project brings San Saba our first upscale destination restaurant, as well as The Papershell Bar and The Pantry, a grocery meets gift store. Nettleship’s rugged-chic Texas bistro and bar concept opened in the Fall of 2020 in its historic home at 408 and 410 E. Wallace Street. The prime downtown location is ideal for residents and travelers along the HWY 16 corridor.

About Wedding Oak Winery

Wine is about the shared pleasures of life — slowing down long enough to appreciate the blessings of the land while enjoying local food and wine with friends, family and community. That’s where we began.

We take our inspiration and name from the majestic, 400 year-old oak tree, known as the Wedding Oak Tree, which grows about 2.5 miles northwest from the winery. The stately tree has been the symbolic site of numerous ceremonies and weddings, beginning with Native Americans on to early settlers and continuing to this day. It reminds us of the importance of nature, the importance of place and the importance of celebrating relationships.
