The New River City Taco Menu is Now Available Exclusively at San Antonio Velvet Taco Restaurants
Velvet Taco recently added something new to their already delicious menu, the new River City taco menu. The River City Menu is exclusive to their San Antonio restaurants!
The new menu is called the River City menu, and all tacos are available for catering except for the Puffy Taco. Here are the new River City Menu tacos and their descriptions:
- Picadillo
- spiced beef, crispy potatoes, mayo crema, Valentina, crispy capers, flour tortilla
- Puffy Taco
- honey adobo chicken, avocado crema, lettuce, tomato, queso fresco, crispy flour tortilla
- Al Pastor
- marinated & grilled pork, buttered cilantro basmati rice, grilled pineapple, pickled onion, pickled fresnos, micro cilantro, corn tortilla
This was voted second best! The pork was tender and cooked just right and the rice and pickled onion gave it that extra flavor.
- Quesa Birria Duo
- 1 slow-roasted angus brisket & 1 pulled pork, with gruyere queso listo, pickled onion, cilantro, griddled corn tortilla, beef consomé for dipping
A vote was taken and Quesa Birria Duo was the favorite new taco. Loved that they were fried a little crispy on the outside and both the brisket and pulled pork were well seasoned, tender and juicy. Also the pickled onions made the dish. Try this, try this, try this!
