Some Local Eateries Taking Part in Culinaira Restaurant Weeks Now Through Aug 23

Here are some local eateries participating in San Antonio’s Restaurant Weeks now under way: Los Barrios Family Restaurants, Rosario’s ComidaMex & Bar, Little Red Barn Steakhouse, Copa Wine Bar, The Barn Door, and Embers Wood Fire Restaurants.

These restaurants are all preparing delicious menus that showcase a blend of Texas-Mex cuisine, southern staples, European flavors, and more! Culinaria’s Restaurant Weeks is a much anticipated event in San Antonio and is filled with culinary delights you won’t want to miss. It is a great way to try a restaurant you have always wanted to eat in, or delve into a new dish at your favorite spot without breaking the bank!

Los Barrios Family Restaurants

Los Barrios Family Restaurants, which include Los Barrios, La Hacienda, and Viola’s Ventas, have created a lunch and dinner menu available at all locations. All restaurants are offering a 3-course lunch meal from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., which includes an iced tea, for $20. The lunch menu features a Tortilla Soup as the starter, a Quesa Taco with a choice of chicken or beef as the entree, and Sopapillas for dessert. For dinner, all restaurants will be serving a 3-course meal, including iced tea, for $35. The dinner menu features a Beef Empanada as a starter, Pollo en Salsa as the entrée, and a Empanada de Guayaba. No substitutions can be made for either the lunch or dinner menu. Little Red Barn Steakhouse

Little Red Barn, located at 1836 S. Hackberry in San Antonio, TX, will be offering special lunch and dinner menus in celebration of Culinaria Restaurant Weeks. Lunch specials, available from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. for dine-in guests, are priced at $20 per person and include a drink, side salad, and roll.

Guests can choose from four entrée options: A 6-oz sirloin with two shrimp, the “Ringo” — a smothered onion pork chop, Fried pork chops served with a gravy flight or Grilled chicken paired with three shrimp. Dinner specials are available from 4 p.m. to close and include a 2-course meal for $35 per person. Each dinner includes a drink, a side salad, and a roll. Entrée options include: A 6-oz Dean and Peeler Filet, Steak and Shrimp or an 8-oz Ribeye. Guests can also choose one of four sides: steak fries, green beans, sweet potato fries, or a loaded baked potato for an additional $2. For dessert, diners can choose between Apple Pie à la Mode or cheesecake. Substitutions are not permitted, and all specials are available for dine-in only. Rosario’s ComidaMex & Bar

San Antonio staple Rosario’s ComidaMex & Bar will offer a prix-fixe lunch and dinner menu during Culinaria Restaurant Weeks. For lunch, guests will start with the option of a Guacamole Salad or Sopa de Tortilla. The main course features three signature dishes: Enchiladas Mexicanas, Lisa’s Special with Beef Fajita, or Chicken Taco Norteno. To finish the meal on a sweet note, dine-in guests will be served Warm Cajeta Bread Pudding. The lunch menu is priced at $20 per person.

For dinner, patrons can enjoy a 3-course meal. Starters include options such as Ceviche Tostada, Mexican Street Corn, or Palomitas de Coliflor. Main course selections consist of Relleno de Coliflor, Carne Asada, or Flautas Especiales de Pollo. Dinner will also conclude with warm cajeta bread pudding. This year, the Culinaria dinner menu is priced at $35 per person. Please note that substitutions are not allowed, and the Culinaria menu is available for dine-in guests only in the main dining room. Copa Wine Bar

Copa is thrilled to take part in San Antonio’s highly anticipated Culinaria Restaurant Weeks. In celebration of the city’s vibrant culinary scene, Copa will offer a bold and flavorful prix-fixe menu that reflects its signature fusion of global tastes and local charm, all for just $30 per person.

The 3-course experience begins with a choice of refreshing Gazpacho Soup or a classic Caesar Salad, followed by hearty entrées like the Chicken Tikka Masala Flatbread or the savory Philly Cheesesteak Flatbread. To round out the evening, guests will indulge in a decadent Café au Lait Flan. The Barn Door

The Barn Door is serving up two special menus packed with classic comfort and bold flavors. Embers Wood Fire Grill & Bar is turning up the heat for this year’s Culinaria Restaurant Weeks with a flavorful $55 Dinner for Two deal.
