About Wedding Oak Winery
In Oct 2011, viticulturist Mike McHenry and a group of friends began construction on Wedding Oak Winery with the passion to bring the burgeoning Texas wine industry to the heart of small town Texas. They opened their historic 1926 tasting room and 10,000 case winery, located at the intersection of U.S. Highway 190 and State Highway 16, on June 1, 2012. l
Wedding Oak Winery is committed to making 100% Texas-grown wines that celebrate our Texas terroir and wine-growing conditions. Their Texas-born winemaker artfully makes their wines with grapes grown in their own estate vineyards, as well winery-managed Texas Hill Country vineyards and Texas High Plains vineyards. They’re proud to bring you Texas wines of distinction suitable for celebrations and every-day drinking.
