SA River Walk Eatery Welcomes Easter with a Delightful Brunch

SA River Walk Eatery, Ambler Texas Kitchen + Cocktails, the Southern-inspired restaurant with a menu paying homage to the Lone Star State, will host an Easter brunch offering three courses for $85 per person for adults, and $39 for children 5-12 years of age.

Guests will have a choice from options within the starters, mains and sweet bites. Start options include dishes such as Cast Iron Baked Pimento Cheese, Smothered Southern Fried “Sticky Bun”, Gulf Lump Crab Cake, Buttermilk Fried Bandera Quail, and more.

Main options include dishes such as Chicken Fried Steak Benedict, Banana Fosters French Toast, Chilaquiles, Blackened Gulf Red Snapper, Southern Fried Chicken, Texas Akaushi New York Steak and Eggs, and more.

Sweet Bites options include Warm Chocolate Fondant Cake, Classic Vanilla Bean Crème Brulee, and Roasted Apple Tart Tatin.

Easter Brunch is available from 10:30am-3pm. Reservations are recommended.

Michael Collins serves as Executive Chef at Hotel Contessa where he is responsible for all culinary experiences in the boutique hotel from Ambler Texas Kitchen + Cocktails, to the sophisticated yet casual craft cocktail bar and robust in-room dining. Collins brings over 30 years of experience to his role at Hotel Contessa, 10 of which most recently have been spent in Texas. “During my time in Texas I’ve developed a huge love and appreciation for the preparation of food and ingredients of the region,” says Collins. “We are lucky to have so many great purveyors, ranchers, and farmers right in our backyard. The plan is to utilize their produce and protein whenever possible in the dishes we prepare at Ambler.” As Executive Chef of Ambler he will continue to pay homage to the Lone Star state through his elevated take on Texas classics.
