River Walk Hotel to Host a La Fuerza Vermouth Tasting

River Walk Hotel, Hotel Valencia Riverwalk, is hosting an Argentinean Vermouth and Wine Dinner on Thursday, April 18 in its Argentinean-inspired restaurant, Dorrego’s. The evening begins with a special cocktail tasting featuring three types of La Fuerza Vermouth: La Fuerza Rojo, La Fuerza Blanco and La Fuerza Primavera. La Fuerza Vermouths are internationally recognized as premier vermouths. They are made from Argentine wine varietals and more than 40 botanicals hand harvested in the Andes Mountains. La Fuerza Co-Founder Augustin Camps will share La Fuerza’s unique story with dinner guests.

The menu will feature some of Argentina’s most esteemed wines and will pair these with a delectable four-course dinner:

 

Duck Confit and Wild Mushroom Empanada with Chimichurri Rojo, served with Reganato Sparkling Malbec.

 

Ensalada Pulpo grilled octopus, house blend of mixed greens and fresh herbs, sweet peppers, spicy candied pecans, sliced strawberries and a citrus vinaigrette, served with Mendel Semillon.

 

Patagonia Roasted Rack of Lamb served with chimichurri, garlic whipped potato puree, and sautéed broccolini, served with Luca Beso de Dante Malbec.

 

Vigilante Dessert Cheese Plate, served with Areyna Torrantés.
