Popular San Antonio Bar will Host Picksmas, a Month-Long Christmas Celebration
Popular San Antonio bar, Picks Bar located at 4553 N Loop 1604 W #1101, will host Picksmas, a month-long Christmas celebration that will take place from now through December 29th featuring a limited-time holiday cocktail menu, a daily ‘Snoop on a Stoop’ giveaway, as well as a variety of holiday-themed events.
Christmas Cocktail Menu
The interior of the bar is covered top to bottom in Christmas decor, with plenty of picture perfect spots to take advantage of. As well as a limited time Picksmas cocktail menu. Including classics like milk & cookies paired with fun cocktails like the Baby it’s Cold Outcider or Let’s Get Blitzen. Alongside uniquely curated shots to down like Santa’s Boot or Cotton Headed Ninny Muggins. Reservations can be made for happy hour with half off all Christmas cocktails and complimentary milk & cookies
Snoop on a Stoop Giveaway
There will be a daily giveaway called, ‘Snoop on a Stoop’, a play on Elf on the Shelf. Customers have the chance to find the hidden figurine of Snoop Dog, take a picture with it, post it & tag @picks_barsa on Instagram. Anyone who posts will receive a free christmas themed cocktail, or a batch of milk & cookies.
Holiday Themed Events
This one of a kind experience will also include multiple events throughout December. Every Wednesday evening, there will be Christmas Karaoke taking place from 9:30pm to 1:30am. Guests can sing their hearts out to their favorite jingle or song to get them in the holiday spirit.
Santa will make an appearance every Saturday for photo opts. Adults ages 21+ can head to Picks Bar on December 9th & 23rd from 9:30pm-10:30pm. Customers will have the chance to snap a pic with Santa and find out if they’ve been naughty or nice.
On Saturday, December 16th the bar will host an Ugly Sweater Christmas Party complete with a dog-friendly photo opportunity with Santa from 7:30pm-9:30pm, followed by nostalgic 90s tunes by Austin cover band Rhinosaur starting at 9:30pm.
Finally, the bar is hosting two Christmas themed Drag Brunches. On Sunday December 17th from 11am-3pm they will host, “A Drag Queen Christmas,” and on December 23rd from 11am-3pm they will host, “The Grinch Who Stole Drag Brunch.”
