About La Panadería Bakery Café:

La Panadería, founded in 2013 at the Quarry Farmers Market, is a bakery and café in San Antonio, Texas. Co-founders and brothers José and David Cáceres opened their first brick-and-mortar in 2014 to share their cultura and love for baking with the beautiful city of San Antonio. Rooted in more than 50 years of family baking tradition, the brothers grew up selling their mother Doña Josefina’s Mexican sweetbread — affectionately known as pan dulce — before bringing those time-honored recipes and techniques to Texas. With a commitment to quality ingredients and artisanal craftsmanship, La Panadería has become a staple in the evolution of San Antonio’s culinary scene, delighting locals and visitors alike with its pan dulce, tortas, brunch, and inviting dining experience.
