New Dessert Bar in Midtown Houston is Celebrating Coffee with Some Delicious Deals
The captivating new dessert café and bar, Sugar Frk, in Houston’s Post Midtown Square, is thrilled to celebrate National Coffee Month throughout August with a month-long promotion featuring delectable pastries and gourmet coffee delights.
Sugar Frk offers a delightful array of specialty sweets and gourmet coffee, along with a selection of wines, teas, and frozen daiquiris. To commemorate National Coffee Month, customers can enjoy a FREE Americano coffee with the purchase of two pastries all month long, and a variety of decadent specialty coffees each week:
Week One (8/1 – 8/6)
White Chocolate Cheesecake Latte: A blend of rich white chocolate and cheesecake syrup with frothed milk and a shot of espresso topped with whip cream and graham racker crumbles.
Week Two (8/7 – 8/13)
S’mores Latte: A perfect balance of rich espresso, velvety chocolate, marshmallow topped with house made graham cracker crumbs and a toasted dollop of Sugar Frk’s house made marshmallow cream, in honor of National S’mores Day on August 10!
Week Three (8/14 – 8/20)
Raspberry White Mocha Latte: A delightful blend of tart raspberries and cream white chocolate with frosted milk and a shot of espresso.
Week Four (8/21 – 8/27)
Vanilla Maple Crunch Latte: Sweet and comforting, this latte combines the flavors of pure vanilla and authentic maple syrup with frothy milk and a shot of espresso topped with candied pecan.
Week Five (8/28 – 9/3)
German Chocolate Latte: The perfect blend of creamy coconut milk, smooth chocolate, and espresso, all topped with a drizzle of caramel and a sprinkle of toasted coconut.

The café also features specialty coffee creations like the Sweet Cold Brew Latte (Cold brew + cream + choice of flavor), Fizzy Americano (carbonated water + a shot of espresso), Affogato (indulgent ice cream with a shot of espresso), Con Panna (double Shot of espresso with whipped cream), and the Frozen Frk (made with espresso syrup, vanilla bean, Irish cream, and half and half), all thoughtfully crafted by talented baristas!
Sugar Frk is the latest offering from Chef Don Bowie, the creative force behind the iconic flavors at Taste Kitchen + Bar in Downtown Houston. The tantalizing menu was curated by Chef Bowie and Pastry Chef Tramaine Covington, a 10-year industry professional, Pastry Chef with Cloud 10 Creamery, and owner of Love & Ate Bakeshop. Every delicious item is crafted from scratch and baked fresh daily.

Dessert enthusiasts can expect a daily menu filled with indulgent treats like fresh baked doughnuts in flavors like Filled Chocolate Cheesecake, Orange Creamsicle, and Lemon Meringue, craveable cookies in flavors like Key Lime Pie, Banana Pudding, and chocolate-dipped S’mores, along with a delectable array of sugar masterpieces, including custom birthday and wedding cakes.
