Nashville Hot Chicken Ghost Kitchen To Host a Free Tasting Event
A Nashville hot chicken ghost kitchen, Take Flight Hot Chicken Co., located at 5826 Hawk Springs Bldg #2 San Antonio, TX 78249, will host a tasting event to seek public feedback regarding the potential opening of a brick & mortar establishment on Saturday, April 13th from 12pm-4pm.
About Take Flight
From the minds of Smashin’ Crab, Take Flight is currently a ghost kitchen operating from two Smashin’ Crab locations, as well as the Smashin Crab Commissary. The restaurant is a Nashville hot chicken concept with a variety of items to choose from including mouthwatering chicken tender combos, giant chicken sandwiches, and traditional southern sides. Guests can opt for no-heat with their #0 Safe Zone (No Heat), or choose from these three levels of spice which include #1 Shallow End (Cayenne), #2 Three Alamo (Habanero) & #3 Panic Button (Trinidad Scorpion). And of course, no hot chicken basket or sandwich would be complete without their signature Take Flight sauce. Desserts like Blueberry Cobbler & Sweet Potato Pie are also available.
About the Tasting
On April 13th from 12pm-4pm, Take Flight will invite a limited number of guests ages 18 & up to sample their Nashville Hot Chicken offerings in return for participating in a survey aimed at determining if they should bring the ghost kitchen to life. There are only 200 spots available with 4 separate time slots to choose from. Reservations are required for attendance, and free parking is available.
The Smashin’ Crab commissary serves as a central hub for the preparation and distribution of ingredients and supplies to all locations. It plays a vital role in ensuring consistency and quality across their menu offerings, contributing to the brand’s reputation for delicious seafood experiences. Take Flight is available exclusively for delivery & pick-up at two Smashin Crab locations and the commissary: Alamo Ranch & Stone Oak.
