Much Loved Diner in Alamo Heights Announces 2nd Location Grand Opening Date
Much loved diner, The Hayden, now with two area locations, is announcing the long-awaited Alon Market location Grand Opening on Saturday, June 3rd from 8am-10pm .
The new 2,900 square-foot space, located within the Alon Market shopping center, at 10003 NW Military Hwy, Suite #2115 San Antonio, TX 78231, will feature the same atmospheric touches & cool ambiance that the diner has become known for with classic diner furniture nods & smatterings of greenery throughout the space.
The eatery, a brainchild of Adam Lampinstein, has found success since opening its doors in 2020 at the original Broadway location. Its menu of classic New York City deli dishes includes a bangin’ Pastrami & Swiss Sandwich, funky Jewish mashups like the popular Chicken & Potato Latke Waffle, as well as ever-evolving seasonal options. These unique eats have made this diner a must-visit spot in Alamo Heights. “We are so excited to bring our unique new school finer diner vibe to more people throughout the community. It’s been a labor of love and we can’t wait to share the new location with the public,” Lampinstein remarked when asked about the upcoming grand opening.
Guests at The Hayden have always been able to enjoy a variety of tasty dishes any time of the day, which will translate to the second location. Diners can grab a bite for breakfast in a contemporary diner setting, have a unique lunch experience with their midday menu, or grab dinner and classy cocktails at the full-service bar.
Both locations will feature the diner’s signature Happy Hour with classic cocktails like the Old Fashioned and Margarita available for $6 as well as their famous Pimento Dip & Chips. Patrons will also be able to enjoy the same convenient online ordering options for quick pick up or delivery. Additionally, guests will be able to have meals catered through either location, with options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner available.
Hours for the Alon Market location grand opening on Saturday, June 3rd will be from 8am – 10pm with regular operating hours being Monday-Thursday from 8am-9pm, Friday-Saturday from 8am-10pm, & Sundays from 8am-3pm.
