Margarita Madness 2023 Started this Week in Port Aransas and Runs Through the End of March
Port Aransas‘ Annual Margarita Madness 2023 kicks off this month. Travelers and residents alike are invited to take their taste buds on an island getaway to experience Margarita Madness in Port Aransas, Texas, the True Texas Coast. Throughout the month of March, over a dozen restaurants and bars across Port Aransas’ eclectic food and beverage scene will offer guests unique and classic margarita options ranging from $10-$20 with a suggested food pairing to perfectly complement their coastal beverage.
Participating restaurants like Castaway’s Seafood & Grill, known for its hand-battered fried seafood, will feature a twist on the classic island favorite with its Pineapple Jalapeño Margarita paired with the Laguna Madre Street Tacos–composed of blackened Mahi Mahi in corn-flour blend tortillas topped with sauteed kale and a house-made chimichurri sauce. Looking over the water, BlueWater Cowboy, will feature a Blueberry Lemon Margarita, a delectable drink filled with bursting fruity flavors. Another waterfront treasure, Fins Grill & Icehouse will be serving their new Caramel Apple Margarita, made with salted caramel Crown Royal. And don’t forget island favorites like Lelo’s Island Bar, serving up the Serranopena Burger, made with grilled serrano peppers and jalapeños, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onions, and pickles on a sourdough cheddar jalapeño bun served with fries–paired with the Chi Chi Spicy Rita, made with Hornitos silver tequila, chipotle pineapple syrup, fresh orange and lime juice, and served in a chilled, tajin-rimmed coupe, topped with a Tequila-infused pineapple as garnish.
No matter where guests choose to unwind, Margarita Madness offers the chance to taste all that the island life has to offer.
