Tributary to Offer St. Patrick’s Day Menu Items and Drinks
Tributary, a farm-to-table focused restaurant located on the River Walk, will provide St. Patrick’s Day inspired menu items from March 11 to March 17.
The limited-time offerings will feature light bites and entrees crafted by Chef Ben Annotti, who’s creative and flavorsome menu items have been regularly featured on Great Day San Antonio (Butternut Squash Risotto; Shrimp and Grits).

The Hayden Diner Offers Irish Remix Menu
The Hayden, located at 4025 Broadway St, San Antonio, TX 78209, is bringing back their Irish Remix Menu for the second time in a row, in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day which will be available from March 15th – March 17th during operational hours, 10am-9pm (or until sell-out).
In this unique menu Executive Chef Bill brought back two fan favorites from the 2022 menu, the Irish Soda Bread and the Corned Beef Sandwich. This is a fusion menu featuring signature Jewish and Irish dishes.
Chef Bill remarked on the importance of developing the Irish Remix Menu: “We’re highlighting the specialties of two immigrant groups that became neighbors in their adopted homeland. Being the sons and daughters of Irish and Jewish immigrants as well as many other parts of the world we welcome everyone to our friendly neighborhood diner here at The Hayden.”
The Irish Remix Menu will feature a selection of items often considered to be Jewish-Irish collaborations, such as the famous corned beef. Early Irish immigrants were drawn to settle in Jewish neighborhoods due to the various parallels that the cultures shared. So, the Irish purchased most of their meat from kosher butchers. This is why what we now consider Irish corned beef is actually Jewish corned beef.
The food menu includes some delicious mashups including Irish Soda Bread, a dried fruit and caraway quick bread served with a smear of apple butter, a Corned Beef Sandwich, a deli classic on rye with coleslaw and deli mustard, also known as the gift the Jews gave to the Irish, and an Irish Coffee Mousse, made Bailey’s and Paddy’s whiskey mousse paired with fresh cream. The drinks include: HighWheel Irish Red and a shot of Jameson, a shot of jameson with a pint of Irish Red to wash it down, Hayden’s Basil Clover Club, mixed with gin, basil and lemon, Frozen Irish Coffee, prepared with Irish Whiskey, cold brew, and sugar. Add an LS Cream Liqueur Floater for an upcharge.

The Hayden is a South Texas diner, with an old school Jewish delicatessen soul. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Many of their signature dishes are Jewish classics with a touch of South Texas flavors.
