Local Stone Oak Restaurant Invites San Antonio Community to a Wine 101 Tasting Event

Local Stone Oak restaurant owner and chef Jeff will be hosting a Wine 101 class at Copa Wine Bar on August 23 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Chef and owner Jeff Bridges at Cope Wine Bar uses his extensive knowledge of wine to create an event designed to help others feel more confident in their wine selections. Jeff’s expertise in wine and spirits began when he and his wife, Angie, opened a liquor store and created the beloved local event known as Taste of the North Side in San Antonio.

Guests attending the event will embark on a guided tour that covers wine history, tasting notes, and pairing suggestions. Attendees will receive four glasses of fine wine while Jeff educates them about the wine’s body and notes. Small bites such as cheese and crackers will be provided for guests’ enjoyment. This month’s 101 wine class is perfect for date nights, girls’ night, or for those seeking a casual night out.

Wine doesn’t have to be intimidating — it’s about discovering what you enjoy and why. This event is a chance to sip, learn, and have some fun with it. Whether you’re brand new to wine or just want to deepen your palate, we’ve got a seat for you at the table,” says Jeff Bridges.
