Latin Inspired Bar Celebrates Grand Opening in Southtown San Antonio
Diez Flores Bar, a Latin inspired bar located at 1010 S. Flores St. Suite 110, will celebrate their grand opening with a two-day celebration from December 15th to December 16th from 6pm-11pm.
The 2800-square-foot Southtown eatery focuses on 10 different Latin countries, offering drinks, bites and entertainment such as live music all day, inspired by different cultures. Co-owner Jerry Gonzalez stated “We’re excited to bring a strong sense of Latin culture to the community of San Antonio.”
The Latin inspired menu showcases food from San Antonio Chef Joel Herrera, also known as Chef Tatu and cocktails from Master Mixologist Hector Vargas. “We’re honored to have local and well-known talent to help bring our vision to life,” says Brittney Gonzales Harbaugh, co-owner of Diez Flores.
The menu includes bites such as the Lechuga Con Queso salad, which is made with lettuce, tomato, cucumbers, queso fresco & corn nuts, or the Cubano sandwich, made with roasted pork, sliced ham, dill pickles, and Swiss cheese on a toasted baguette. The signature cocktail menu will include drinks such as La Sirenita, a cocktail made with Don Q Rum, pineapple, and passion-fruit, inspired by Puerto Rican culture, and a Spain-inspired cocktail, Running of the Bulls, which is made with Alkkemist Gin & Dry Vermouth.
On December 16th, first in the musical lineup will be the DJ Duo, Circle Selectors performing inside from 6-8pm. During 8-9pm, guests can move to the patio and hear the funky rhythms of Combo Cósmico. To end the night, the Circle Selectors will wrap up the grand opening inside from 9-11pm.
