Innovative Eatery, Bread Zeppelin, elevates Breast Cancer Awareness with limited-time “Pink Lady” Salad giveback to support The Rose Foundation.

Bread Zeppelin, an innovative restaurant known for its delicious salad-stuffed baguettes, is joining the fight against breast cancer with a special Breast Cancer Awareness Month giveback in support of The Rose Center for Breast Health Excellence!

Throughout the month of October, Bread Zeppelin’s Houston locations, one at City Place (1700 City Plaza Drive) and the newest addition in Greenway/Upper Kirby (3235 Southwest Fwy in the Summit Square Shopping Mall) will feature a special limited-time “Pink Lady” salad, with $1 from each Pink Lady salad or Zeppelin sold donated to The Rose for their life-saving breast cancer initiatives!




The Rose, a prominent local nonprofit established in 1986, plays a crucial role in providing over 40,000 women in Southeast Texas with access to essential mammograms and treatment every year, regardless of their insurance status or ability to pay for services.



Pink Salad

Bread Zeppelin’s Pink Lady is a delicious, fresh creation that combines succulent Pink Lady apples with candied pecans, creamy goat cheese, tangy red onions, and grilled chicken, all harmoniously tossed with arcadian salad mix and spinach, and crowned with a delightful champagne vinaigrette!

This limited-time flavor will be exclusively available as a fresh salad or stuffed Zeppelin through October 31 at Houston Bread Zeppelin locations, to raise awareness and funding for the local battle against breast cancer. The proceeds from this special initiative will directly support early breast cancer detection access and treatment provided by The Rose.



Salad or Sandwich?

Bread Zeppelin, a Dallas-based visionary concept co-founded by Troy Charhon and Andrew Schoellkopf in 2013, has been captivating the taste buds of diners with its ‘best of both worlds’ signature item, the “Zeppelin”, since its launch.  Blurring the lines between a sandwich and a salad, the Zeppelin starts with a freshly baked artisan baguette that is custom toasted to order. The soft interior is carefully cored out and then generously filled with a personalized chopped salad, delivering a crisp, refreshing, delicious combination of flavors and textures in every bite.

In addition to the Pink Lady, Bread Zeppelin offers a healthy, diverse selection of 12 fresh signature salads that can be enjoyed either in a bowl or within the unique Zeppelin sandwich. The restaurant also offers the freedom to build-your-own fresh ingredient Bowl or Zeppelin. Guests can choose from a variety of five lettuce bases and grain options and select from a vast array of nearly 40 fresh veggies, fruit, crunch, and cheese toppings, a wide selection of proteins, including shrimp, turkey, herb-marinated chicken, and fire-grilled flank steak, and 15 delicious dressings, made fresh in-house daily, for a truly personalized experience.

Think Pink in October

Bread Zeppelin and Avalanche Food Group invite all members of the Houston community to Think Pink this month and rally together to support local women battling breast cancer!  By enjoying the Pink Lady Salad or Zeppelin at Houston Bread Zeppelin locations through October 31, guests not only get to indulge in a wonderfully fresh, healthy meal but also can support The Rose and make a difference in the lives of countless local women affected by breast cancer!
