Expect Crazy Good Food at This Local Seafood Restaurant Festival in June
Expect crazy good food at Smashin Crab, with three locations throughout San Antonio. They are hosting a Twist & Pinch Crawfish Festival on Saturday, June 10th from 11am to 8pm at their Stone Oak location at 700 East Sonterra, Suite 1117, San Antonio, TX 78258.
What:
The San Antonio seafood spot is inviting guests to join them for a day of crawfish eats, entertainment, & fun where attendees can Twist, Pinch, Pull, Eat, and REPEAT their favorite crustaceans.
Dubbed the Twist & Pinch Crawfish Festival, the event will feature all-you-can-eat crawfish, crawfish etouffee, and bayou bread, one of the eateries’ signature dishes made with crawfish etouffee and mixed cheeses, on a garlic butter loaf for $40 per person.
A cash bar will also be available with several beer, margarita, & hurricane options available to wash down all those mudbugs. To add a little taste of NOLA, the restaurant will also offer 24 oz souvenir yarder cups as well as commemorative t-shirts for the event.
Entertainment
Family-friendly entertainment will be available for guests, including a balloon artist as well as a variety of lawn games such as corn hole, giant jenga, and more.
Guests will be able to enjoy live music throughout the day, including a DJ and live music headliner Bexar Brass hitting the stage starting at 2pm. The Ft. Sam Houston Army Brass Band will also perform during the festival.
Crawfish Eating Contest
The main event for the day will be a crawfish eating contest with a grand prize of $300 set for 3:30 pm. Those who wish to participate can register via Eventbrite with their regular ticket purchase. Entry to the contest will be an additional $30 per person. The winner will be determined by who can eat 5 lbs of crawfish in the fastest amount of time.

Tickets for the Twist & Pinch Crawfish Festival on June 10th from 11am to 8pm are available for purchase online via Eventbrite here with a $40 per person ticket price.
