Downtown Tiki Bar Introduces New Menu & Celebrates Two Years
Riverwalk Tiki Bar, Hugman’s Oasis, celebrated two years serving the Alamo City. The bar is located at 135 E. Commerce St, San Antonio, TX 78205 and celebrated its two-year anniversary with a luau party last night, Sunday, June 25th. Stop by their cozy location on the River Walk and try out their new menu and cocktails.
Known for their tiki-inspired cocktails and bites, the restaurant will be offering an array of food & drink specials to celebrate its birthday. For an island vibe music experience, the bar also hosted local Djs Brian Parrish (Casbah) & Scott Kimrey (El Gato) on their tiki hut patio overlooking the San Antonio River Walk.
During the event, guests indulged in some new-to-the-menu tropical bites including items such as Spam Musabi Rolls & Furikake Fries; a salty concoction made with Japanese Furikake seasoning & topped with Bonito Flakes. All the above are inspired by their sister location, Tokyo Cowboy, located above Hugman’s Oasis.
For tiki cocktail lovers, featured drinks will include new arrivals like the Sneaky Pete and Burn The Ship. The latter features a blend of Guava, Grapefruit, Lime & Honey mixed with Blanco Tequila & Angostura Bitters while the former includes Pineapple & Overproof Rum blended with Lime & Demerara.
Hugman’s Oasis has quickly become the go-to spot for tiki lovers from the Alamo City & around the world. The fun-filled luau in celebration of their two-year anniversary inspired a tropical island feel right on the banks of the San Antonio River Walk.
