On April 26th, families and friends can gather at Thompson San Antonio – Riverwalk for the Battle of Flowers Parade, featuring festive floats, bands and horses. After the parade, guests can get a Day Pass to enjoy poolside vibes at the Cenote Pool Deck, or grab a refreshing cocktail and bites at Landrace.

ABOUT FIESTA AT THOMPSON | FIESTA FLAMBEAU PARADE

The Flambeau Parade, known as one of America’s best, lights up the final weekend of Fiesta San Antonio, captivating millions of spectators. Originating from the French word for torch, participants illuminate the Texas evening, creating a spectacle akin to a sky full of stars. Civil engineer Reynolds Andricks conceptualized the parade, drawing inspiration from New Orleans’ Mardi Gras and the expertise of festival impresario William Petmecky from Fredericksburg. Together, they crafted Fiesta Flambeau into a unique and dazzling nighttime event, adding a new dimension to San Antonio’s festivities.

The Fiesta Flambeau Parade travels through beautiful and historic downtown San Antonio and is considered the premier event of the 11 days of Fiesta San Antonio. It is viewed by over 750,000 street spectators along a 2.6-mile parade route.

Join Thompson San Antonio – Riverwalk for premier and front row seating to the parade. Each package includes a high-table for two and access to the hotel’s exclusive block party with a live DJ, food and drinks, and all the Fiesta vibes!

Drinks and light bites, including Steer on a Stick, Texas Twinkies, Paleta, and Dipped Cheesecake, will be available for purchase.

Thompson San Antonio – Riverwalk is proud to partner with the San Antonio Community and donate 15% of ticket sales + 100% of Fiesta medal purchases to local charities.
