This Fall, Cancun’s award-winning Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach Cancún All Inclusive Spa Resort is debuting a new cocktail program lead by the hotel’s newest team member Mixologist, Alejandro Moo. The carefully curated cocktail menu crafted by Alejandro and his team perfectly complements Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach’s three newest dining outlets – Havanna Club Steakhouse and Latin Lounge, an Argentinian Mexican Style Steak House; Chianti Il Consorzio, an elegant Italian Ristorante, and Torii, featuring Asian-Fusion cuisine – which officially opened this summer.
Located within 40,000 square feet of reclaimed space, each of the three restaurants have been meticulously constructed with the utmost attention to detail. A sleek glass elevator descends from the hotel’s lobby into an elegantly decorated lounge and bar, where guests can relax in anticipation of their dining experience.

CHIANTI IL CONSORZIO RISTORANTE
Savor the flavors of Tuscany, Italy’s most celebrated cuisine as a melody of live Tenors fill the air. Enjoy traditional antipasto with prosciutto and melon, bruschetta, and Sicilian style arancini, fresh homemade pasta, and a variety of risottos with fresh seafood. For dessert, indulge in the Chef’s interpretation of tiramisu or a palate cleansing gelato.
Summer In Tuscany
– 1 oz Limoncello
– 1 oz Stregga
– 1 oz Passion fruit puree
– .25 Agave honey syrup
Mix the ingredients in a shaker and shake vigorously, strain and add ice to taste, garnish with dried fruits.
HAVANNA CLUB STEAKHOUSE + LATIN LOUNGE
Designed to evoke a sexy supper club Havanna is Coral Beach’s new Argentinian Mexican Steak House, transforming into a night club after dark. Featuring nightly tango shows during dinner, Havanna will serve up the best Argentinean cuts made to order and seared on a Basque-style grill utilizing locally sourced wood from the region.

– 1 oz Whiskey
– 1 oz Amaretto
– Cinzano to Taste
– Dehydrated Orange Peel
Pour whiskey or bourbon into a glass and add the amaretto, top up with Cinzano, strain and add ice to taste, garnish with orange peel.
TORII, THE PACIFIC RIM
A modern and immersive Asian fusion dining experience featuring an elegant sushi bar and eight Teppanyaki tables. At the sushi bar, chefs prepare traditional favorites and innovative rolls while the Teppanyaki tables feature the Chef’s Omaskae menu. A variety of tempuras and dishes such as Szechuan Beef, Kung Pao Chicken, and Pad Thai are also available. Nightly entertainment includes an ancient Japanese drum ceremony, a traditional Chinese lion dance, and a time-honored sake ritual performed to usher in good luck, fortune, and prosperity.

– Mint Leaves

In a glass, place the pineapple and the macerated lemon, pour white rum and sake. Top it off with Midori liqueur and ice to taste. Garnish with mint leaves and dehydrated lime.
ALEJANDRO MOO WINE DIRECTOR + BAR MANAGER
With the official title of Wine Director and Bar Manager, Alejandro Moo, oversees Coral Beach’s talented team of mixologists.
In 2015, Alejandro earned the esteemed title of Professional Sommelier by ONSOM (National Organization of Sommeliers of Mexico), where he is the current Vice President at ONSOM Cancun Chapter. Here Alejandro shares his knowledge with hotel professionals across Riviera Maya, Cancun, and Puerto Morelos. As an ONSOM Professional Instructor, he has taught courses ranging from the intricacies of vine structure to the nuances of distillation and the various classifications, including Sake. A dedicated student, Alejandro has continued his education to include a Certificate in Supervision of Restaurants and Bars from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico and is pursuing additional specialized studies in Portuguese and Spanish wines, Mexican viticulture, and the history of distilled spirits. Alejandro’s expertise extends to the world of cigars, with a profound understanding of Habanos, Dominican Cigars, and cigars from around the world.
