Celebrate Fiesta at this seafood eatery, Fish City Grill, with a custom medal and delicious specials. It’s almost time for FIESTA and Fish City Grill is celebrating in a big way.
First, they’ve created their first commemorative Fiesta medal, and in classic Fish City Grill style, they’re using it to benefit the community. 100% of the sales of the medals will benefit the Assistance League of San Antonio.

San Antonio’s Fiesta celebration dates back to 1891 as a way to honor the heroes of the Texas Revolution. But the tradition of collecting Fiesta medals didn’t enter the mainstream until 1971. Ever since Fish City Grill first opened in Alamo City, the restaurant has established itself as the city’s leader in great made-from-scratch seafood at an affordable price. As a part of its company ethos, Fish City Grill has made it a part of its mission to become involved and engaged members of the San Antonio community.
Medal
For Fiesta 2024, which runs April 18-28, the three San Antonio Fish City Grill restaurants will each offer a custom Fiesta Medal, with 100% of the sales of the medals going to the Assistance League of San Antonio, an organization committed to transforming lives of children and adults through community programs. Fiesta medals will go on sale April 1 and will be available while supplies last.
This first commemorative medal is locally designed and features a crawfish design, in celebration of the season when these seafood favorites can be enjoyed. Throughout crawfish season, which traditionally runs through mid-June, Fish City Grill brings the freshest crawfish in from family crawfish farms in Louisiana and serves them perfectly prepared at competitive market prices. The daily price of crawfish can be found by looking at the daily specials for each restaurant, which are found on a live webcam here.
Delicious Specials
In addition to specially seasoned crawfish, Fish City Grill is featuring several fresh specials throughout the ten-day Fiesta celebration including a miso-glazed Atlantic salmon served with sugar snap peas and lemon basil rice for $23.99. Additionally, beer-battered cod tacos are offered with sweet potato fries for$16.49.
