Delightful Cold Coffee Special at First Watch will Help You Beat the Heat in San Antonio
First Watch‘s new delightful cold coffee brews will surly help you beat the heat this summer. They will also satisfy your caffeine craving without breaking a sweat.
First Watch – the Daytime Dining concept serving a chef-driven menu of breakfast, brunch and lunch – has stepped up its iced coffee game and added two new specialty brews to its permanent menu:
- Mint Mocha features a chocolate drizzle and peppermint coffee before being topped with sweet cream cold foam, Ghirardelli dark chocolate chips, and a mint garnish.
- Honey Caramel Crunch comes with a salted caramel drizzle and sweet honey coffee topped with sweet cream cold foam and toffee crumbles.
This iced coffee is a real treat. It can be breakfast, a mid-afternoon cooler or a dessert at any time of day. I like salted caramel, but my favorite part of the drink was the cold foam sweet cream on top with the toffee crumbles. It was a delicious dessert for me.
Even better news, every weekday now through August 11, customers who dine-in at any of their San Antonio restaurants can enjoy a $2 iced coffee of their choice – from the new specialties to their classic iced coffee and cold brew.

Other Items on the Summer Menu
Strawberry Tres Leches French Toast
Thick-cut, custard-dipped challah bread griddled and topped with fresh strawberries, sweetened condensed milk, warm dulce de leche, whipped cream and spiced gingerbread cookie crumbles and lightly dusted with powdered cinnamon sugar. Wow!
This French Toast was decadent, so ooey gooey.
Carnitas Breakfast Tostadas
Savory hand-pulled carnitas, Cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese, seasoned black beans and two basted cage-free eggs atop two crispy corn tostadas and topped with white queso, fresh sliced avocado and house-made roasted corn salsa. Garnished with house-pickled red onions, cilantro and a lime wedge. Served with a cup of fresh fruit sprinkled with Tajin seasoning.
Bacon Cheddar Cornbread
Freshly baked cornbread with Cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese, bacon and scallions. Topped with house-whipped honey butter.
Watermelon Wake Up
Watermelon, pineapple, lime and mint.
A sweet tart refresher for summer fun and cooldown.
What is Always on the Menu
Tri-Fecta
Two fresh cage-free eggs any style with either a light and airy Belgian waffle or a multigrain pancake. Plus your choice of bacon, chicken sausage patty, turkey or pork sausage link.
I always go to First Watch when I want a Belgian Waffle. They are light, fluffy and just my size. And I love that I can also get the bottle of pure maple syrup instead of using maple flavored syrup. It makes all the difference.
Farmhouse Hash
Start with two cage-free eggs any style atop fresh, seasoned potatoes, bacon, avocado, house-roasted onions and tomatoes, & Cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese. It comes with their whole grain artisan toast.
You have to love everything about this dish. It has two huge eggs, lots of seasoned potatoes along with fresh slices of avocado, crisp bacon and fresh tomatoes and onions. Adding two different cheeses to hold it all together makes it delicious. And the artisan bread toast is a perfect scoop.

About First Watch
First Watch follows the sun. What does this mean?
Just as they greet each morning with the sunrise, they welcome each season into the First Watch menu with ingredients and flavors inspired by the position of the sun. That’s why on their menu you’ll find vibrant, green California-grown asparagus in April, or the most refreshing Florida watermelon in July, or tender, sweet yellow corn from the midwest in August.
