San Antonio’s authentic Creole and Cajun seafood restaurant, Smashin Crab, is thrilled to announce the return of crawfish, along with the addition of new menu items.

The South’s highly anticipated crawfish season is back just in time for Mardi Gras. This year, Smashin Crab is offering crawfish at $16 per pound or $10 for a half-pound. Crawfish will be available at all three San Antonio locations while supplies last.

Crawfish season is always our favorite time of year. We take pride in bringing authentic Creole New Orleans flavors to San Antonio, and crawfish is a true staple of NOLA cuisine. That’s why we’re excited to introduce Yaka Mein to the menu. With Texas weather as unpredictable as it is, there’s nothing better than a warm, flavorful bowl of soup on a cold day.” Sarah Felix, Corporate Executive for The PotBelly Stove Restaurant Group

In addition, the restaurant is introducing Yaka Mein, a traditional New Orleans–style Chinese-Creole fusion noodle soup that is known as a hangover cure by locals. Those looking for lighter fare will be able to dine on newly added House & Caesar Salads as well. Guests can customize either of the new offerings by adding their choice of protein for an additional charge.
