What is a Dirty Shirley?
The Shirley Temple has been a popular non-alcoholic drink since its namesake pranced and pouted across movie screens in the 30s. Black Infusions Dirty Shirley was launched earlier this summer and is made with dark cherry vodka, naturally infused with real cherries, and is free from artificial sugar, colors and ingredients, unlike the “syrupy, verging on sickly sweet” version which the New York Times reports is served in many bars. In fact, the Dirty Shirley RTD has more than one cup of fresh cherries in each can.
Review
This is a very relaxed, refreshing cocktail you can drink right out of the can or dressed in a glass. Whether you are entertaining on the patio by the grill or firepit or hosting a cocktail party this holiday, be sure to reach for this delightful cocktail. The taste is one of ripe sweet dark cherries with a squeeze of lime which gives it that just made freshness. This RTD sparkling craft cocktail is sure to be a hit this fall. I liked that it is made with real fruit and no added sugar. And the dark red color looks like fall. You want to be sure to order this one before your next get-together.
