This New Year’s Party is Going to Be a Great Way to Celebrate the Jewish New Year in San Antonio’s Alamo Heights
This New Year’s Party will be celebrated at the modern-day diner, The Hayden. They are throwing a special Jewish New Year’s Party in celebration of Rosh Hashanah on Monday, September 26th from 6:30pm-9:00pm. Adult tickets are $75 per person and are all-inclusive with a four-course meal, wine, tax, and gratuity included.
The modern-day diner is honing in on their Jewish roots for this special celebration. Rosh Hashanah is a significant holiday for Jewish owner, Adam Lampinstein because it signifies the New Year for Jewish culture and is marked by the blowing of the shofar. This Jewish New Year party consists of all the food. Whether you are privy to the deliciousness that is braised brisket and noodle kugel, or not, all are welcome. The Hayden encourages Jews and Gentiles to come together and break some challah.
Adult tickets are $75 per person and are all-inclusive with food, wine, tax, and gratuity included. A limited number of kids tickets are available for those 12 & under for $40. Featured red and white wines by Recanati Winery will be provided. It’s Israeli! It’s Kosher! It’s tasty! Beer & cocktails will also be available for purchase. Tickets can be purchased on Eventbrite here.
The event will take place on Monday, September 26th with doors opening at 6:30pm for guests to schmooze and nosh. The Hayden is normally closed on Mondays, but will open to ticket holders for this event specifically. At 7:30pm the restaurant will do the candle lighting, a toast, and blow the shofar. Dinner will be served right after by Executive Chef, Bill Corbett and Sous Chef, Brian Reese. The menu is a set menu that includes:
