The Good Kind is Gearing Up for Two Celebrations: A Selena Birthday Party and an Easter Brunch

The Good Kind is first hosting a Selena Birthday celebration on Friday, April 15th from 6pm-10pm, which will include a DJ spinning Selena, a Selena look-alike contest, food & drinks. Admission is free.

The second is an Easter celebration on Sunday, April 17th from 11am-4pm, which will include a brunch buffet, half off mimosa kits & an appearance by the Easter Bunny for photos from 12pm-2pm. Admission is $20 per adult, $10 per child (12 years & under). Tickets are available here.

Selena Night

The Good Kind, located at 1127 S. St. Mary’s St., San Antonio, TX 78210, is set to celebrate late tejano star Selena Quintanilla’s birthday with Selena Night presented by Silver Eagle Beverages & Viva Brewery on Friday, April 15th starting at 6pm with a DJ, movie showing, and look alike contest.

The Good Kind is inviting Selena fans to Bidi Bidi Bom Bom down to their spacious Southtown garden on Friday, April 15th for Selena Night presented by Silver Eagle Beverages & Viva Brewery. The fun starts at 6pm with DJ Kung Fu Sound Systems playing all of Selena’s hits. Then at 7pm there will be a look alike contest with cash prizes. Finally, at 8pm guests can enjoy a showing of the fan favorite Selena movie. DJ will continue to play Selena hits throughout the night.

The Good Kind will be serving their full kitchen and bar menu of botanical cocktails and more. This event is free and open to the public. Children and dogs are welcome. The Good Kind’s hours of operations are Tuesday & Wednesday from 3pm to 9pm, Thursday through Saturday from 11am to 11pm and Sunday from 11am to 9pm.

Easter Brunch Buffett

Second, the restaurant is hosting an Easter Celebration on Sunday, April 17th from 11am – 4pm featuring a brunch buffet, half off mimosa kit specials, and an Easter Bunny for photo opts from 12pm-2pm.

The brunch buffet will include scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage links, sweet potato hash, biscuits, sausage gravy, french toast, fresh herbed frittata and fresh fruit. Mimosa kits will also be available for purchase for half off. From 12pm – 2pm, the Easter Bunny will be available for photos with the kids.

Tickets are required for admission to the event. Admission is $20 per adult and $10 per child (12 years and under). Tickets may be purchased here.
