Taste of the Republic is the Official Kickoff to Fiesta San Antonio
Taste of the Republic moves to the lush gardens in Southtown, “The Good Kind”, on March 31st where chefs will interpret the Six Food Republics of Texas.
Taste of the Republic is the VIP culinary party of Fiesta Fiesta – the official kickoff to Fiesta® San Antonio. Chef Brian West brings together more than a dozen talented local chefs to interpret the “Six Food Republics of Texas” based upon his Texas Culinary Manifesto. This tasty event takes place Thursday, March 31st from 5 – 9 pm at “The Good Kind”, 1127 South St. Mary’s, 6 blocks from the previous location at the Marriott Plaza. Mingle with Fiesta Royalty while nibbling on gourmet bites paired with the perfect wine. Wander through the lush gardens, enjoy the 6 regions of Texas cuisine with ideal wine pairings while feeling the rhythm of the sounds of DJ Donnie D. Guests will also be able to enjoy Dos Equis XX beer and spirits from Tito’s Handmade Vodka and Patrón Tequila.
“While we’ll miss the familiar courtyard of the Plaza, we’re excited to be in the lush garden space of The Good Kind. The lighting and lush outdoor space will bring a new feel to Taste of the Republic,” said Chef West. “We’re happy to finally be able to connect and celebrate Fiesta, San Antonio, and Texas!”
