Stone Oak Wine Bar, Copa Wine Bar & Tasting Room, is Celebrating Spring with Two Wine Events in May
Copa Wine Bar & Tasting Room located at 19141 Stone Oak Pkwy, Suite 704, San Antonio, Texas 78258, is celebrating Spring with two wine events in May including a six-course wine tasting event on Wednesday, May 11th from 5pm-9pm, and a four course wine & dine on Thursday, May 26th from 5pm-9pm.
The wine bar will host their monthly wine tasting event on Wednesday, May 11th from 5pm-9pm. Guests can enjoy a sampling of six wines from across the world for just $25. Notable wines include Canaan White by Dalton from the Upper Galilee region of Isreal as well as Hahn’s G.S.M. (Grenache/Syrah/Mourvedre) red blend, an intense & toothy blend out of Monterrey, California that is not one to miss. To pair, the restaurant will offer Sausage & Cheese Arancini for an additional cost. Reservations are not required to attend the wine tasting and those who wish can view the full menu for the tasting at the Copa Wine Bar website.
Copa Wine Bar’s monthly wine and dine event, which will occur on Thursday, May 26th from 5pm-9pm is themed “Copa’s Greatest Hits” featuring four of the most popular dishes from the last year’s worth of wine & dine events. Guests can indulge in a four course meal, complete with a perfect wine pairing for just $75 per person. Queued up for the event are past favorites like the Zeta Pizzette, an indulgent take on the traditional pizza topped with roasted mushrooms, fresh chevre cheese & caramelized onions. Also on the menu, Cochon a Trois, features a smoked pork loin wrapped with pork belly and stuffed with andouille sausage stuffing. For dessert, the restaurant will be returning their famous Strawberry Beignets for a one night only appearance. Copa Wine Bar has been a part of the San Antonio food scene for over 17 years & offers a variety of wines from around the world as well as Texas craft beers. Additionally, they recently were awarded ‘Best Wine Bar’ for the second year in a row by the San Antonio Express News’s Reader’s Choice Awards.
