San Antonio Street Art Initiative Celebrates Three Years & 60 Murals Completed with St. Mary’s Strip Block Party During Fiesta Sponsored by Lone Star Beer
WHAT:
San Antonio Street Art Initiative (SASAI) is excited to present the first Annual St. Mary’s Strip Fiesta Block Party at participating bars, including The Squeezebox, El Ojo, El Búho, Faust, Hi-Tones, The Lonesome Rose, Paper Tiger, Rumble and Midnight Swim, on Saturday, April 2. This event celebrates SASAI’s 60 murals in three years with the addition of new St. Mary Strip murals in honor of the businesses and the block that started it all. Participating bars will feature either live music or DJ sets to help celebrate San Antonio’s favorite party season. Lone Star Beer will be sponsoring and supporting SASAI through the growth of their artists advocacy program LOGIT and the creation of new courtyard murals at Paper Tiger.
The block party will feature FREE live music at Paper Tiger with local favorites Santiago Jiménez Jr., Garrett T. Capps, and The Texaxes.
