National Coffee Day is September 29 so Get Ahead of this Caffeinated Holiday with Some Creative Cocktails

 

 

Whether you’re diehard for espresso martinis or ready for a riff, check out these cocktails created for National Coffee Day below to get ready!

 

 

“Bearly Awake”

BEARFACE Canadian Whisky

Ingredients:

Directions: Shake, stir, strain, top with espresso beans.

 

 

“Chipotle Irish Coffee”

Tanteo Tequila

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Tanteo Chipotle Tequila

  • 5 oz espresso

  • 0.5 teaspoon granulated white sugar

  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar

  • Whipped cream for topping

Directions: Add fresh coffee to glass, stir in white and brown sugar until dissolved. Add Tanteo Chipotle Tequila and stir. Top with whipped cream.

 

 

“Night Cap”

Crystal Head Vodka

Ingredients: 

Directions: Add Crystal Head Vodka, espresso, coffee liqueur and simple syrup into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously over ice for 10-15 seconds. Strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with grated dark chocolate and 3 espresso beans.

“Cold Fashioned”

Starward Australian Whisky

Ingredients:

Directions: Combine all in a mixing glass with ice and stir until very cold. Serve in a rocks glass over 1 large rock with orange zest.

“Cold Brew Cooler”

Mulholland Distilling

Ingredients: 

  • 1.5 oz Mulholland Whiskey

  • 0.25 oz orange liqueur

  • 2 oz cold brew coffee 

  • 0.5 oz simple syrup

  • Top with coconut water 

  • Garnish with mint sprig

Directions: Shake until well chilled, dump shaker contents into a Collins

Glass. Top off with coconut water and garnish with mint sprig. Add a

dusting of nutmeg or cinnamon on top if you’re feeling spicy!

Ingredients:

Directions: Shake all ingredients with ice until well chilled, then strain into a tall glass over ice.

  •  1.25 oz Proper No. Twelve Irish Whiskey

  • 0.5 oz Ancho Reyes

  • 0.25 oz Giffard crème de sacao

  • 0.25 oz 2:1 Demerara syrup

  • 3.5 oz coffee

Directions: Build in snifter, stir all ingredients, top with whipped cream and garnish with grated nutmeg and pocky stick
