It’s Alpacas and Pumpkins at This Family Fun Event Now Open

This ain’t your average pumpkin patch! It’s Alpacas and Pumpkins at Black Barn Alpacas. This unique ranch is proud to announce its official grand opening with a full-on Fall Festival that kicks off on October 1 in Floresville, TX.

Over 50 adorable fluffy faces reside on this 16-acre alpaca ranch in Floresville, and they’re hosting an autumn harvest festival every weekend in October. Visitors can enjoy live music, carnival games, hay rides, food trucks, bounce houses, pumpkin painting, and of course — alpaca petting, feeding, and photo ops. In addition to the weekend festivities, visitors can enjoy the photo-friendly pumpkin patch and up-close-and-personal alpaca experiences Tuesdays through Thursdays throughout the month of October. In addition, on October 29, there will be a 3-Hole Washer Tournament special event for a chance at the grand cash prize. It’s sure to be a rootin’ tootin’ good time!

Black Barn Alpacas is dedicated to sustainably raising premiere black and gray alpacas within a 45-minute drive from downtown San Antonio. Guests travel from across the country to experience guided tours and cozy encounters with 50 of the most Instagrammable fluffy faces in Texas. At Black Barn, tourists can cuddle, pet, feed and pose with the herd, then stay to enjoy a picnic and a bottle of wine in the sprawling green pastures of the ranch.
