“We are offering both our very popular Poptails room package and our à la carte Poptails again this summer,” said Hotel Valencia Riverwalk’s Sales and Marketing Director Stacy Seaborn. “These cooling treats are always a big hit with both hotel guests and local residents. This year, our talented mixologists have come up with two Poptail recipes: a Prickly Pear Margarita Poptail and a Valencia Dream Poptail. These are sure to bring out the inner kid in our hotel guests and San Antonio residents alike.”
Hotel Valencia Riverwalk is offering overnight room packages featuring luxurious accommodations with two welcome Poptails to enjoy on the Terrace or at Dorrego’s Bar. Prickly Pear Margarita Poptail
Poptail Recipe
30 oz. prickly pear purée
10 oz. triple sec
20 oz. water
10 oz. orange juice
Mix all and transfer to popsicle molds filled three-quarters full. (Makes one-half gallon)
Served in a rocks glass filled with a house margarita.
Margarita recipe:
1.5 oz. El Jimador tequila
0.5 oz. Cointreau liqueur
1 oz. lime juice
0.5 oz. agave syrup
Garnish with a lime wedge.

Valencia Dream Poptail
(Recipe make one-half gallon)
40 oz. orange juice
10 oz vanilla schnapps
10 oz. water
6 oz. cherry juice
Mix all ingredients and transfer into popsicle molds filled three-quarters full. Freeze, then place one popsicle into a coupe glass filled with prosecco and enjoy!
