Hotel Paso del Norte ‘s Chef Jason Partners with DeadBeach Brewery for a New Culinary Event



Hotel Paso del Norte in El Paso, TX is Hosting an Exclusive New Culinary Event – Chef Jason’s Beer Dinner Featuring DeadBeach Brewery.

The intimate dinner experience will welcome 20 people to the rooftop terrace of El Mirador overlooking views of Juarez and the Franklin Mountains. This is the terrace where people would come to watch the Mexican Revolution unfold in the early 1900s.



Guests will enjoy seven beer tastings paired with bites from Executive Chef, Jason Brumfiel, such as Hazelnut Reared Heritage Pork Belly, Truffle Oil Poached Halibut, Foie Gras Valrhona Chocolate Pistachio Bark, and more. Each menu item is inspired by the grains and hops from accompanying beers.

As part of this elevated culinary pop-up, this interactive event will showcase a line-up of beers from local Deadbeach Brewery including Chuco Lauger, Abuela Stout, Peachbreaker Sour, and Road to El Dorado.



Brew Master Gabe Montoya will be on hand.



Seating is farm-table style.

El Mirador is a rooftop cocktail lounge featuring craft cocktails, an extensive selection of fine wine by glass and bottle, craft beer, and the availability of “bottle service.” Its rooftop location is a storied destination within the hotel where patrons in the early 20th century came to watch the Mexican Revolution while drinking libations. The food menu consists of small plates and light fare graciously served in a setting that features panoramic views of El Paso and Mexico. Live entertainment is also a highlight several nights a week.

The DeadBeach Tavern is currently open 4 days a week, Thursday through Saturday: 11AM – 1AM, Sunday Brunch: 10AM – 8PM. Come by for dine-in or curbside pickup. Beer delivery via Uber Eats services.



Their tap menu varies from week to week and they’re always planning something fun and unique for their guests. They offer beer to go in a variety of forms. 12 and 16-ounce cans, 22-ounce bombers, 32 and 64-ounce growlers, and 32-ounce crowlers are available.


Their food truck offers a variety of made-from-scratch snacks, sandwiches, and smoked meats, like their house pastrami, or their St. Louis Style Ribs, that perfectly pair with their beer.
