French Bakery Offers Savory Pie-Making Classes During September
French Bakery, Bakery Lorraine, invites you to join Chef Jenn Riesman for hands-on savory pie-making classes.

WHAT:
Due to popular demand, Bakery Lorraine is once again inviting guests to roll up their sleeves and master the art of pie-making during a limited series of hands-on savory pie-making classes led by Executive Pastry Chef Jenn Riesman, one of San Antonio’s most beloved pastry chefs.
Hosted exclusively at Bakery Lorraine’s Medical Center location from 4 – 6 p.m. on Saturday, September 5, 12, and 19, Sunday, September 6, 13, and 20, as well as Friday, September 18, each class will guide attendees through creating a Chicken & Sausage Pot Pie and mini Tomato Pie from scratch using techniques and tips from Riesman herself.
Tickets are $60 and include admission for up to two people, making the experience perfect for couples, friends, or family members looking for a unique outing. At the end of the class, participants will take home the pies they made to enjoy.

Riesman joined Bakery Lorraine as Executive Pastry Chef in 2025, bringing years of experience and a devoted local following. These intimate classes offer guests a rare opportunity to learn directly from one of San Antonio’s most celebrated bakers while getting a behind-the-scenes look at Bakery Lorraine’s iconic tips and tricks.
