On this floor you will notice the the open Naranjo Bar and Rotunda with windows that overlook Houston Street. There are overstuffed leather chairs and cozy tables to chat with friends or your significant other while enjoying a cocktail. On the other side of the lobby is the library where you can sit and read a book or decide on the days adventures. Notice all the lovely art and wrought iron throughout.
Dorrego’s, is the only Argentinean–inspired restaurant in the city and features an innovative menu, rooted in the rich culinary heritage of Argentina. Their menu brings fresh, local ingredients and an imaginative approach to steaks, seafood and fowl. With a full service bar you can enjoy an intimate cocktail or glass of wine on the patio or a private table before dinner. I had a delicious Pollo al sartén con limón, ajo y tomillo ~ Pan Seared Lemon, Garlic and Thyme Breast of Chicken served with roasted potatoes, sautéed summer vegetables and pan jus. It was perfectly delicious.
With elegant and comfortable rooms and suites, they have the perfect place to lay your head for rest and recuperation after a day of exploring this beautiful city with all the things it has to offer. Rooms have king beds or two double beds and have either a view of downtown, the river or of their courtyard with fire-lit cascading waterfalls. Courtyard room offer a sit-out balcony including a bistro table & chairs. Their is also a large Junior Suite with a view of both downtown and the river or the Presidential Suite, a two room accommodation, with a private balcony off the bedroom.
