Trapiche Vineyards stands out for its premium standards in viticulture and winemaking. The leading export winery of Argentina, Trapiche produces more than 3.5 million cases of wine per year and is available in over 80 countries.

The three wines mentioned below represent the flavor of their country at a great price.

Trapiche Winery

Trapiche Oak Cask Cabernet Sauvignon 2020 (SPR: $11.99):

The pinnacle of quality to price, the Trapiche Oak Cask tier showcases unique wines from over 2,500 feet in elevation, crafted using a nine-month barrel aging process. This tier was the first Argentine wine to gain worldwide recognition.

A wine that is easy to enjoy, with toasty notes throughout. Dark red in color, this Cabernet Sauvignon displays the aromas of cherries, plums, and licorice. The palate is fresh and clean, with depth and ripe, slightly oaked flavors of cassis, blackberry, and chocolate. “Aromas of juicy red stone fruit with oaked cassis and chocolate.”

Variety: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon

A soft and complex wine that marries fruit from Maipú, Luján de Cuyo and the Uco Valley. Aged in 20% new wood, it’s firm and well structured, with juicy plum and blackcurrant pastille fruit and supporting acidity. “A wonderful wine for Fall dishes with its smoke and roasted pepper with balsamic and spicy notes.”

A well-structured wine with complex aromas of plum jam, green pepper, raisins, tobacco, and a delicate touch of oak. Balanced and very persistent in the mouth with soft and ripe tannins. Made with grapes sourced from our vineyards in Cruz de Piedra and Luján de Cuyo. “This wine is jamy with a touch of oak at the finish.”
