Woodlawn Lake Park Hosts The City of San Antonio’s Official Fourth of July Celebration Presented by the San Antonio Parks Foundation
Woodlawn Lake Park Fourth of July Celebration 2021 – Sunday, July 4th, 2021 | 11:00 AM-9:30 PM
After forgoing the beloved celebration in 2020, The San Antonio Parks Foundation in partnership with The City of San Antonio Parks and Recreation Department, presents The Official City of San Antonio Fourth of July Celebration. The outdoor event is scheduled for Sunday, July 4th,2021 from 11:00 AM – 9:30 PM at Woodlawn Lake Park. This FREE, family-friendly day will celebrate the birth of our nation and honor our freedom!
Per tradition, beginning at 11 AM through 9:30 PM there will be plenty of July Fourth fare, including local food trucks and vendors serving up hot BBQ, Burgers, Hot-Dogs, Tacos, Aguas Frescas, and cold drinks galore! Carnival games will also be available for the duration of the event.
Over 115 years ago, H-E-B opened their doors to help make the lives of hard-working Texans better and the tradition continues as the family-owned business supports another year of July 4th festivities at Woodlawn. At 5 PM the Welcome Salute, presented by H-E-B, kicks off the evening program featuring distinguished guests, Bexar County Commissioners, and San Antonio City Council Members. The U.S. Air Force Band of the West brings their show-stopping energy to the stage for a live performance 7:30 PM – 9 PM followed by the Thomas J Henry Fireworks Extravaganza! The beautiful fireworks display will begin at 9 PM with precision timing over Woodlawn Lake.
